Lay Down Studio-Quality Bass Lines with Ease
The bass guitar can be described as one of the cornerstones of modern musical arrangements – supporting the all-important musical harmony and bridging the crucial gap between the rhythm of the drums and the chords and melodies of the guitars in a typical band setup. You just know when you hear a great bass line – the track seems full and complete, the groove is elevated, and the emotion of the music can be fully realized. Get the bass wrong though and you’re in trouble, bass matters!
Dandy
DANDY is your first-call when you need a seasoned professional bassist that is totally present in a mix without ever sounding “shouty” or obnoxious. There’s no aggression or “who cares” indie-rock attitude in the playing. No, DANDY quietly lays down ultra-smooth, highly-polished basslines without hogging the spotlight or taking up too much room in a mix.
Mellow 2
recorded acoustic double bass, played with soul and feel, implanted in a virtual instrument adding realism, behavior and a player who knows his stuff. Smooth, elegant, with the odd noise here and there. At home as a subtle foundation in a jazz trio as well as powerful second voice in Hip Hop.
Rowdy 2
Your loud-mouthed, high energy bassist with bite! If your bass needs to cut through heavy drums and a wall of guitars, then ROWDY is the perfect solution.
Royal 2
Virtual Bassist ROYAL is your all-round high-end session bass professional – always primed to reliably and effortlessly underpin most styles of popular music with its rounded electric fingerstyle tones. Perfect for pop, ready to rock, impressive on indie, and smooth on singer/songwriter material.
Slap
SLAP is the wild child among our bassists. A modern, sophisticated and off the wall virtuoso. Forget about cheesy slap sounds à la Seinfeld! Driving your song with character and soul, this is the ever energetic creative live wire. In parallel there's all the reliable professionalism you expect: SLAP shows up on time and lays down incredibly realistic basslines. Best of both worlds! With SLAP you will compose impressive bass performances easily.
