Featuring unique sets of mixed, matched, and layered percussive elements based on anything from classic drum machines to textures of cutting edge sound design, the Dance EZX presents a total of 15 custom drum kits designed to paint a broad brushstroke across the entire commercial range of modern electronic dance music.

It was engineered by Timofey Reznikov, DJ, producer and composer from Belgium with cuts on platinum-selling albums by the likes of David Guetta, Regi and Dimitri Vegas.

Setting out to capture not solely the percussive nature of all the splintered subsets of the genre, it also includes a large pool of chromatically tuned tonal instruments as well as a selection of unique sound effects tailor-made to fit the sonic identity of each kit.

This makes the Dance EZX transcend way beyond being solely a percussive foundation – it makes it an all-encompassing beat machine on just as much a melodic level.

To add, a dedicated library of grooves specifically designed to cater to each kit is included, making getting started on just the right idea easier than ever.

The Kits

From the smooth percussive nature of Afro house and the sun-drenched
bounce of Tropical house to the laser-piercing sting of trance and UK house - this EZX covers both ends of the sonic extremes.

Afro House

With a mix of organic and electronic elements and a unique rhythmic language, this style has a truly stand-out sound. This kit blends acoustic percussion, an electronic kick drum, marimba, and a thick synth bass. A great starting point for an Afro house beat!

Bass House

Distorted and tuned 909 percussion, hi-hats, and a short, heavy kick together with a massive bass make up this kit…which is perfect for a style in which the bass plays a rhythmical key role!

Classic House 1

With its TR909-type drums, piano stabs, round and punchy kick and obvious FM synth bass, this constitutes the absolute go-to set for that iconic classic house sound.

Classic House 2

A velvety kick, a harmonically rich electronic piano, and a soft bass. This is the ultimate staple kit for all the mid-tempo classic house or commercial pop song bangers in the 120-126 BPM range.

Commercial Deep House

That light and dreamy sound! A fluffy, gentle kick with a clear attack and sub contrasted by bright electronic percussion. This is a great start to any commercial dance tracks with uplifting or melancholic moods.

Commercial House

This is the workhorse kit to reach for if your track still hasn’t taken on a clear direction. With its basic kick, percussion, hi-hats, and timeless FX, like white noise and vocal chops, it’s got that universal all-around quality to it.

French House

This kit captures the French vinyl-era vibe. With sampled one-shot drums, acoustic percussion, organ keys, and a funky bass, it has all the elements to nail down that jazzy and upbeat emotion of French house.

Progressive House

Tons of classic drum machine sounds, but refueled with a modern energy. With its round FM-style bass, edgy bass drum, and timeless percussion, this kit can fit many dance music directions.

UK House

With a thick and punchy kick drum thump, super compressed hi-hats and percussion as well as bright effects and chops, this kit is bursting with energy. Great for club tracks!

Tech House 1-4

These four kits present the cornerstones of the popular tech house sound. Sharp kicks, edgy and electronic-sounding percussion, white noise effects, vocal drones, plucky bass, and classic supersaw-like leads.

Trance

To capture that always current high-energy style of trance, this entire set is dialed in to have a gritty overall tone and a super heavy mid-frequency kick to really cut through. The bright electronic percussion and supersaw-like lead help push it even more.

Tropical House

Bright hats and percussion, a short and laid-back kick, percussive effects soaked in reverbs, a popping bass, and a nice, round lead – and bam, you’ve got that famous tropical, happy feel. Great set for a radio-friendly production!

The Mixer

The mixer allows you to control the individual level of each element of the kit, adjust the global delay, reverb, and flanger channel strips as well as alter the overall saturation and several other parameters by tweaking the Filter, Glue, Space, and Flanger knobs.

The MIDI

The MIDI library features two unique variations of grooves involving all the elements of each kit, giving you both a rhythmic and melodic foundation to start from.
