The Sounds & Articulations

The bass in the Gospel EBX was captured with the same scrutiny as the instruments included in the core EZbass library and covers all the subtle articulations you need in order to produce stunning performances. Seeing as the finger playing style is the absolutely predominant one in any facet of gospel music, the bass focuses solely on capturing that to its fullest extent. In addition to the regular ‘bridge’ striking position, the library also includes samples played closer to the neck. In effect, this provides you with two fundamentally different sets of tonal characteristics of the same instrument - one bright and direct and one noticeably more warm, round and mid-focused.

The Presets

The presets in the Gospel EBX were engineered to provide mix-ready tones suitable for the entire range of gospel-inspired music. Each individual preset involves amp and cab simulation as well as various degrees of saturation and effects. In order to give you full flexibility of using any external processing, DI options are available as well.

The MIDI

The MIDI in the Gospel EBX was designed to provide you with a broad palette of basslines inspired by anything from traditional gospel to modern, fusion-inspired gospel. With the onboard tools and features of EZbass, you can easily modify this MIDI to seamlessly fall into place in any context of your own songs.
