The Basics

iLok is a copy protection method used by many of our brands.

It has 3 types of activations, iLok USB, iLok Machine, and iLok Cloud.

Different brands/products will offer different iLok methods. iLok USB is always an option, but the availability of iLok Cloud and iLok Machine methods is at the discretion of the software developer.

iLok Account

For all iLok protected products, you will need an iLok account. You can create one for free here: ilok.com/#!registration

iLok License Manager

To manage your iLok licenses, there is a dedicated app called iLok License Manager. This app is used to register, activate, and move your licenses between locations.

iLok USB Key

iLok USB

This activation is stored on an iLok 2 or 3 USB key.

It is the best option for portability, if you frequently move between multiple machines, and offline use.

iLok Machine ID

Machine ID

This activation is stored locally on your computer.

While this is a convenient way to work offline, and does not require the additional cost of an iLok USB, there is the risk of a license being lost in the case of a drive failure.

This option also requires extra care when you upgrade to a new computer, the license(s) must be deactivated on your old machine first to ensure you do not lose them.

iLok Cloud

iLok Cloud

This activation is based online, and requires a "cloud session" using the iLok License Manager.

It requires an active internet connection for the entire time you use the plugin(s).

Low Percussion Core focuses the sound into one essential microphone mix, locking the sound of Studio One into the groove.

Engineered by GRAMMY-Award-winner Simon Rhodes (Skyfall, Avatar) and performed by virtuoso percussionist Joby Burgess, whose credits include blockbuster scores like Black Panther, The Avengers and The Batman, video games such as Indiana Jones and performances on dancefloors from Wembley Stadium to Berghain, this library captures the dynamism and realism of each drum in the legendary acoustic of Abbey Road Studio One.

Rhythmic Fundamentals

To further enhance your creative workflow, this product includes a free MIDI pack of fundamental drum rudiments.

These building blocks of percussion technique are programmed specifically for Abbey Road Orchestra Percussion, leveraging the intuitive right/left hand mapping for authentic performance.

Drag and drop these rudiments into your compositions at any tempo, and freely edit them within your DAW, adding realistic drum techniques with ease.

Deeply Sampled for Realistic Dynamics

Up to 12 round robins and 10 velocity layers deliver unrivalled realism in this suite of orchestral and indigenous drums.

Extremely responsive and highly tactile, Low Percussion explores the timbral and textural range of 20 drums, with up to seven beater options per drum, performing hits, rolls, swirls and sweeps sampled in incredible detail.
