The biggest British JMP1-based library, which includes the original presets (154 Rigs).
Brit J1 Preamp is the TH-U expansion library, created by Choptones, seeking to recreate the sound of a Marshall JMP1 Preamp.
The library contains 154 rigs:
- 26 rigs are created from the 26 factory presets built into the original preamplifier, by connecting the pre to a JCM800 power amp.
- 128 rigs are created from setups with multiple cabinets, microphones and overdrive pedals, in order to provide a wider range of tones. A Mesa 2:90 power amp has been used.
The Brit J1 Preamp rigs have been captured using the following gear:
