The Anthem Choir Bundle combines the two distinctive legato choir libraries - Anthem Choir and Anthem Choir 2.

Instead of polished classical vocals, the focus is on a direct, powerful and intentionally human sound, ideal for pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop and anthemic productions.

Anthem 1

The first legato choir library produced for non-traditional settings, including pop, rock and big anthemic genres.

We had a very specific sound in mind which we felt could only be achieved by bringing in folks who could sing but didn’t necessarily do it professionally.

From people who used to perform in bands, karaoke enthusiasts to aspiring vocalists and members of the local church choir - the resulting sound and performance is truly unique, raw and very human.

The brief given to the studio singers was to stay in their chest voice throughout their entire range while properly belting out non-vibrato performances. Not an easy task! Plenty of kudos, beer and laughter was exchanged.

Truly a workhorse choir library with considerable utility if you need crowd vocals with power, agility and no shortage of humanity and vibe.

Anthem 2

Included this time around are three different vowels: Ah, Mm and Eh (more of an 'Aa' as in "RAD") sung by three different ensembles: Women Impolite/Polite and Men.

Each vowel also has an alternative consonant attack (velocities 100-127): "Nah" for the Ah's, "Yeah" for the Eh's and a pitch-scooped attack for the Mm's.

For the Women Impolite and Men groups, we brought back the original rowdy karaoke warriors from Anthem Choir.

They cut loose, singing strictly in their chest voice up the range at full chat. These patches are full of attitude and vibe.

For Women Polite, we hired a group of semi-pros/pro singers in the studio and instructed them to try and ditch their training and go more pop/fun.

The performances are more refined and accurate.

The All Women patches include a balanced blend of both the Impolite and Polite groups, playing off each other's strengths. These patches sound huge!

The Basics

iLok is a copy protection method used by many of our brands.

It has 3 types of activations, iLok USB, iLok Machine, and iLok Cloud.

Different brands/products will offer different iLok methods. iLok USB is always an option, but the availability of iLok Cloud and iLok Machine methods is at the discretion of the software developer.

iLok Account

For all iLok protected products, you will need an iLok account. You can create one for free here: ilok.com/#!registration

iLok License Manager

To manage your iLok licenses, there is a dedicated app called iLok License Manager. This app is used to register, activate, and move your licenses between locations.

iLok USB Key

iLok USB

This activation is stored on an iLok 2 or 3 USB key.

It is the best option for portability, if you frequently move between multiple machines, and offline use.

iLok Machine ID

Machine ID

This activation is stored locally on your computer.

While this is a convenient way to work offline, and does not require the additional cost of an iLok USB, there is the risk of a license being lost in the case of a drive failure.

This option also requires extra care when you upgrade to a new computer, the license(s) must be deactivated on your old machine first to ensure you do not lose them.

iLok Cloud

iLok Cloud

This activation is based online, and requires a "cloud session" using the iLok License Manager.

It requires an active internet connection for the entire time you use the plugin(s).
