MoForte GeoFrenchHornBb

French Horn Virtual Instrument for Mac

GeoFrenchHornBb brings the horn's warm, covered tone to GeoShred Studio as a physically modeled instrument that opens up and turns brassy as you push the breath harder.

The long conical bore is modeled as a continuous instrument: pressure and gesture on the grid govern dynamics, color, and vibrato in real time, from a distant pianissimo to a full, open fortissimo, while the pitch surface carries the slurs and wide leaps that are the horn's daily work.

Presets include Swell, Low V Port, and Meditation, 20 in all. Works with MPE controllers, wind and breath controllers, and GeoShred Control, a free iPhone and iPad companion app that delivers a multi-touch expressive surface for live performance.
