MoForte GeoBansuri

Bansuri Virtual Instrument for Mac

GeoBansuri models the Indian bamboo flute inside GeoShred Studio, where one finger sliding across the grid carries the meend, the glide between notes that is the bansuri's own voice.

The instrument is keyless, so ornaments and microtonal inflections are part of how it speaks, and GeoShred's continuous pitch surface plays them directly, with breath intensity, vibrato, and airiness shaped by pressure and gesture in real time.

Meditation, Finger Vibrato, and Resonator are among the 20 factory presets.

Works with MPE controllers, wind and breath controllers, and GeoShred Control, a free iPhone and iPad companion app that delivers a multi-touch expressive surface for live performance.
