We dreamt up Modern & Massive lusting after a virtual drum library that gave us the polished, beefy, in-your-face sounds we hear in the best-produced modern rock and metal records. We chose drums that continue the time-honoured rock tradition of devastating simplicity and decided to sample them at Middle Farm Studios, UK, one of the best-sounding drum rooms in the world. We selected heads and tuned the drums for the biggest impact, and sampled them in excruciating detail, up to frankly worrying intensities, to give you natural-sounding tones capable of unbelievable power.
Modern & Massive's sounds are obsessively engineered and minimally processed to give you incredible tones out-of-the-box, that don’t paint you into a corner when it comes to deciding on your mix aesthetic.
