Ghostwriter

One of the most eclectic and prolific artists in the history of progressive rock, Steven Wilson has teamed up with award-winning producer Doug Rogers to deliver you the complete toolkit for creating dramatic and terrifying soundscapes.

You'll find no shortage of Steven's most innovative sounds which will inspire film composers, songwriters, and any musicians interested in creating an intense cinematic experience for listeners.

All you need to do is open Ghostwriter and acquaint yourself with this massive library of carefully crafted sounds and then you can easily take it from there.

ProDrummer

EastWest's ProDrummer not only includes professional drum sounds; the producers, who record and mix the biggest artists in the music business, have included pre-mixed drum kits for use in your compositions using the 'state of the art' tools included in the ProDrummer software.

In addition to the producer pre-mixed drum kits, EastWest included their favorite effects processors including Solid State Logic EQ and Dynamics, Transient Shaper, and the legendary SSL Stereo Bus Compressor; which pretty much lets you create 'anything', and is perfect for EDM or media composers.

Plus EastWest's new Amp Simulator with 80 Amp Presets, and Expanded Convolution Reverb with 726 Additional Reverb Presets.

Also included in each volume are over 14,000 MIDI drum grooves in different styles.

Search for the right grooves for your song with our groove 'search engine' and assemble your song right inside ProDrummer with the built-in sequencer (or drag to your DAW).

Use our built-in Velocity Processor to control the dynamic power of the drums.

The Basics

iLok is a copy protection method used by many of our brands.

It has 3 types of activations, iLok USB, iLok Machine, and iLok Cloud.

Different brands/products will offer different iLok methods. iLok USB is always an option, but the availability of iLok Cloud and iLok Machine methods is at the discretion of the software developer.

iLok Account

For all iLok protected products, you will need an iLok account. You can create one for free here: ilok.com/#!registration

iLok License Manager

To manage your iLok licenses, there is a dedicated app called iLok License Manager. This app is used to register, activate, and move your licenses between locations.

iLok USB Key

iLok USB

This activation is stored on an iLok 2 or 3 USB key.

It is the best option for portability, if you frequently move between multiple machines, and offline use.

iLok Machine ID

Machine ID

This activation is stored locally on your computer.

While this is a convenient way to work offline, and does not require the additional cost of an iLok USB, there is the risk of a license being lost in the case of a drive failure.

This option also requires extra care when you upgrade to a new computer, the license(s) must be deactivated on your old machine first to ensure you do not lose them.

iLok Cloud

iLok Cloud

This activation is based online, and requires a "cloud session" using the iLok License Manager.

It requires an active internet connection for the entire time you use the plugin(s).
