Dexibell T2L Piano

Piano Virtual Instrument

The art of the acoustic piano, reimagined as a Dexibell plugin.

From the heart of Italy's world-renowned music technology scene comes the Dexibell T2L Piano, the first software instrument powered entirely by Dexibell's exclusive True to Life (T2L) engine.

Originally developed ten years ago from a bold and visionary idea, T2L was designed to bring an unprecedented level of piano sounds authenticity into digital.

T2L technology delivers an incredibly realistic acoustic piano experience, setting a new benchmark for digital instruments.

With over a decade of expertise in designing and producing professional stage, home, and sound module pianos, Dexibell now takes the next leap forward: the era of Dexibell Virtual Instruments begins.

For those who expect more from a virtual piano, Dexibell brings its acclaimed sounds and responsiveness into your DAW.

If you've worked with piano plug-ins before and crave greater nuance, depth and emotional realism, the T2L Piano offers a transformative experience.

It combines the organic warmth of high-resolution sampling with the flexibility and detail of real-time modeling.

The result is a Virtual piano that feels and responds like an acoustic instrument, not just in tone, but in spirit.

The Engine Behind the Emotion

T2L (True to Life) technology represents a hybrid synthesis approach that combines high-resolution sampling with real-time physical modeling to reconstruct the full behavior of an acoustic piano at a granular level.

Rather than capturing composite notes alone, T2L involves the precise extraction of multiple micro-components from the original source, including hammer impact noise, key release (key-off) artifacts, sympathetic and pedal resonance, mechanical action noise, cabinet resonance, and more.

These elements are not statically layered, but modeled in real time, allowing the engine to dynamically recombine them based on performance input such as velocity, pedal behavior, polyphonic interaction, and playing articulation.

This architecture enables a far more responsive and expressive playback engine compared to traditional sample-based instruments, which often rely on static layers and scripted transitions.

It also allows for drastic reduction in wave memory footprint, since the engine does not require dozens of velocity layers or large multi-sample sets per note.

Combined with optimized CPU handling, T2L delivers a piano sound that evolves organically with the player’s touch highly expressive, deeply reactive, and remarkably efficient.

Engineered for Modern Production

Whether you're working on a film score, composing a pop arrangement, or recording a solo piano piece, the T2L Piano adapts to your workflow without draining system resources.

Its optimized memory and CPU architecture make it suitable for everything from compact laptops to massive orchestral sessions.
