BOOM Library Creatures Humanoid
Creature Sound Design Samples in WAV Format
Not All Monsters Come on Four Legs
Finding the right fictional creature sounds is no easy task, too often they sound fake, weak, or simply wrong.
Creatures Humanoid delivers that grizzly, barren terror you need in your two-legged monsters.
Full of horrifying screams, bone-rattling growls, and drool-dripping snarls, these creature sounds will leave your audiences gripping the edge of their seats.
The library was recorded using a combination of extraordinary voice acting and the skills of our experienced sound designers that find themselves needing such a library every day.
The Construction Kit provides the ultra-detailed dry sounds while the Designed collection pounds in the extra flesh.

What We Recorded
We recorded our snarls, grunts, and screams in our studios. We not only included our own professional team of grunters, but brought in the stylings of the metal vocalist from The Tex Avery Syndrome. We also used kazoos, PVC pipes, and paper tubes to add some resonance and something to gnaw on during downtime.
What Makes Creatures Humanoid Special?
Recorded on our pristine Sanken CO-100K, Sanken CMS-50, and Sennheiser 8040 mics, combined with a sample rate of 192kHz, CREATURES HUMANOID gives you an extraordinary quality to work with for processing, pitch-shifting, and any further editing you might need to do. We had a lot of fun creating the Designed edition by tweaking and mangling the Construction Kit recordings for example with ENRAGE and UBERLOUD.
Compatible Software
This BOOM Library of creature sounds comes as WAV files, meaning you can import and work with them in any software that can handle this file type.
