SWAM Violin V3
The most realistic, real-time controllable, expressive virtual violin on the market. Our SWAM-S technology guarantees the same natural reactions as a real instrument. With SWAM instruments you can compose and arrange your orchestra pieces or concertos.
SWAM Violin is an instrument based on physical modeling. So it is possible to control the main mechanical variables in real-time. For example, the velocity controls the attack of the sound and the portamento time, as well when playing legato. The Mod. Wheel can control the vibrato and any foot pedal can be assigned to the expression. There is indeed no limit to the number of possible combinations.
SWAM Viola V3
SWAM Viola is the most realistic, real-time controllable, expressive virtual viola on the market. Developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM technology, it guarantees the same natural reactions as a real instrument.
SWAM Viola is instrument modeled with algorithms, recreating the behavior of the real acoustic instrument. There are no pre-recorded samples, that's why there are endless expressive sound combinations you can get.
For example, assign the bow pressure to a knob of any MIDI controller, and create your own music.
SWAM Cello V3
Expressive, realistic, real-time controllable via a MIDI controller: SWAM Cello is all of this, and so much more!
SWAM is a technology based on physical modeling, so it is possible to control the main mechanical variables in real-time, like the bow position.
Assign the bow position to a knob on any MIDI controller and hear the sound difference on SWAM Cello.
SWAM Double Bass V3
SWAM Double Bass is the most realistic and expressive virtual double bass on the market.
There is no limit to the number of possible combinations with SWAM Solo Strings.
On SWAM Double Bass, for example, it is possible to combine a portamento of any speed, during a crescendo or a diminuendo, while playing a tremolo. This is possible because this instrument is based on physical and behavioral modeling.
SWAM Clarinets V3
Discover the best virtual clarinets on the market: expressive, realistic virtual clarinet and bass clarinet that respond to real-time controllers as naturally as traditional acoustic wind instruments do.
SWAM Clarinets provide continuous, real-time control of primary expressive parameters using standard MIDI controllers.
Control dynamic response (not just volume) with an expression pedal.
Introduce vibrato using a Modulation Wheel.
Create glissandi shaped by MIDI Note On Velocity during legato articulations…and many more!
SWAM Saxophones V3
The four instruments of the standard saxophone quartet: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophones.
Sample-based saxophone libraries often link dynamics to fingering, but these two elements are fully independent in real wind instruments.
SWAM Saxophones allow independent control of these primary expressive parameters, continuously and in real-time.
SWAM Flutes V3
Includes four instruments: Flute, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, and Piccolo.
The SWAM Flute is a perfect illustration of how a virtual instrument can realize the concept of articulation. The physics of the flute determine that the instrument’s main expressive techniques (such as expression, vibrato, and flutter tongue) all depend on a single factor: the dynamics of the breath.
With SWAM Flute, all these parameters are easily controlled in real-time with standard MIDI controllers, or even with a breath controller for a truly realistic feel.
Nothing could be more natural…other than playing an actual acoustic flute!
SWAM Double Reeds V3
Four handcrafted digital acoustic instruments - Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon, and Contrabassoon - developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM technology to be the most realistic, real-time controllable, and expressive virtual double reeds on the market.
Any instrument based on SWAM technology allows controlling primary expressive parameters, such as dynamics and vibrato, continuously and in real-time.
SWAM Double Reeds also provide comprehensive staccato/legato articulation management, a key characteristic of double reed instruments.
SWAM Trumpets
Includes five expressive and realistic virtual Trumpets: Flugelhorn, Flugelhorn (Eb), Trumpet (Bb), Trumpet (C), Piccolo Trumpet.
SWAM Trumpets are realized entirely with Physical Modeling, included the Mutes!
This technology allows all articulations typical of this instrument to be reproduced in real-time, by acting on its main physical elements such as pipe length, breath pressure, and lip tension. Independent control of the valves allows both Half-Valve transitions and ones typically triggered with overtones in glissandos or broad vibratos.
SWAM Trombones
Comprised of five types of trombones: Double Bass Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tenor Bass Trombone, Tenor Trombone, and Alto Trombone.
Physical Modeling allows all articulations typical of Trombones to be reproduced in real-time, by acting on its main physical elements such as pipe length, breath pressure, and lip tension.
Independent control of the slide allows soft glissandos as well as ones with typical overtone triggers. Regardless, you can always choose between Slide or Valve mode.
SWAM Horns and Tubas
Five digitally handcrafted acoustic instruments – Bass Tuba, Tuba (Eb), Euphonium, French Horn (F), French Horn (Bb) – developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM Technology result in the most realistic, real-time controllable, and expressive virtual Horns and Tubas on the market.
SWAM Horns and Tubas are realized with Physical Modeling.
This technology allows all articulations typical of this instrument to be reproduced in real-time, by acting on its main physical elements such as pipe length, breath pressure, and lip tension.
In French Horns, the sound can be modulated using a hand inside the bell. Moreover, one can perform pedal notes by enabling the additional-valve option.
This feature is now available for all of the SWAM Brass Family.
