No sterile sustains or short articulations here; instead, ISW recorded unique, improvised sounds inspired by the natural movements of flowing water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTheir names are appropriately evocative: Ripples, Tides, Flares, and Drifts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe articulation movement and dynamics are subtle, engaging and invite the listener to lean in and feel the performance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition to the orchestral main instrument, we worked with composers and sound designers to sculpt the original sounds into something new using analog and digital outboard gear and plugins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is a truly inspiring collection of intentionally designed, orchestra-based textures that drip with character and harmonic excitement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith this set of auxiliary instruments, Lamina Orchestral Textures bridges the gap between traditional orchestra and modern synthetics, making it as useful in a period piece as it is in a dystopian horror score.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMix, match, pan, layer and add effects to these creative articulations and designed textures to craft a truly unique orchestral foundation in seconds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe built Lamina Orchestral Textures so we could spend more time composing and less time trying to get our samples to sound human.
